As an effective way to take full advantage of the bandwidth of the fiber, optical time-division multiplexing(OTDM) technology has been widely researched and demonstrated. Many works were concentrated on clock recovery and demultiplexing. The ideal aim is to use all-optical technique, without O/E conversion~(1)-(4). However, the immature of all-optical devices makes it un-priatical temporarily. here, we describe a demultiplexer scheme in which an electrical clock will be extracted from the input optical signal directly and the demultiplexing is based on electrooptic On/Off gate.
