A cooperative reasoning algorithm on deductive database inference

摘要

The most important problem about traditional deductive database system is how to increase the reasoning efficiency, now it is possible to cooperate several computers to do the same reasoning task on the basis of computer supported cooperated work (CSCW). This paper proposed a non-redundant cooperative inference algorithm which is based on an accomplished inference algorithm to the deductive database. Not only to create reasoning-tree, but also to accomplish reasoning answer, this algorithm can do the coordination perfectly. So it makes that this algorithm with n-processing workstations do the same amount of relational operations as that of one-processing workstation does. The algorithm does its best on cooperative processing.
