摘要

Research on a computer simulation system has been conducted in order to develop a new kind of automatic train protection ( ATP ) system for Chinese Railway. The paper describes software design of the simulation system which has the same mathematic model of train braking with the ATP system and consists of more than 20 modules. According to the data provided by simulation result, a new kind of ATP system was developed and on-line simulation was conducted. In the paper, the features of the ATP system is also introduced as well. With multi-microprocessor structure, the new kind of the ATP system adopts speed-distance mode curve control. Service braking can be implemented both for passenger trains and freight trains in the ATP system. The ATP system will become the leading safe control system of train operation on the main lines for Chinese Railway.
