The accurate dynamic analytic calculation of the fractionating system in a hydrocracking unit is a stiff problem in a large scale. It is impossible to complete one time step calculation of this stiff problem in less than 10 seconds on any personal computer currently used, supposed the step size of the time step is greater than 1 second. This paper proposed a synthetic method used to simulate the fractionating system. It includes more than a dozen of simplified mathematical models and some function transformation technologies and topological organization technologies. Based on the synthetic method, we can complete one time step dynamic calculation of our simulation problem in less than 0.1 seconds on a Compaq 486/33m personal computer. And the program based on it simulates the fractionating system well.
