Deep Catalytic Cracking (DCC) is a novel catalytic conversion process for light olefins production directly from heavy oils. DCC type I process for maximum propylene operation mode has been put into production. The newly developed DCC type II process for maximum propylene plus isoolefins production has been commercially tested. The piocess description and reaction mechanism of DCC process are approached. The commercial practice of DCC type II process is introduced.
