Effect of water on low-temperature heat treatment of low-rank Turkish coals

摘要

Water greatly promotes decarboxylation, dissociation and hydrogenation of two Turkish low-rank coals in the pretreatment temperature range of 285-330°C. Synergistic effect of H_2-H_2O combination is evident in pyridine dissolution and hydrogen donor ability of the coals employed.
