Virtual teams are getting popularity in today’s high-tech and global-scale business environment. This conceptual paper discusses the conflict management styles and factors that may affect the styles in a virtual team setting. Based on the literature, we identified two factors, group identity and electronic performance monitoring, which are expected to impact how virtual team members resolve their conflicts.
