摘要

The close contact field in the vicinity of an electrode system is studied as a major factor of the pseudo-electret effect. Using low voltage between fine insulated wires or nets, this electrostatic effect exploits mechanism of convective diffusion of non-electrified or low-charged submicronic aerosol particles. A model that considers the contribution of Coulombian forces and Brownian motion has been developed. All equations involved in the model are solved with finite element analysis method.
