Flue Gas Conditioning by Conversion SO_2 in Nanosecond Corona Discharge

摘要

Flue gas conditioning agents are used primarily for maintaining high particulate collection efficiency in electrostatic precipitators operating on high resistivity fly ash from sulphur coals. The conception is proposed of flue gas cleaning from fly ash utilising nanosecond corona discharge. With such a technique, oxidising radicals are produced and conditioning agents are generated by conversion of SO_2.
