Wall-to-bed heat transfer characteristics have been investigated in an aerated spouted bed (SAB) with a draft tube utilizing glass beads (d_p=1.12, 1.80, 2.67mm) and air as as fluid. Results indicate that h values in the SAB increasing aerating rate and decrease with increasing bed height, under identical flow conditions h values in the SAB were about 30
