The hydrodynamics of the fast fluidized bed obtained in laboratories can be used for the commercial fast fluidized bed of the FCCU(Fluid catalytic cracking Unit) with a high efficient regenerator. It is discovered that the commercial fast fluidized bed is operated within the range from turbulent to fast fluidization. For a constant air rate through the first stage of the regenerator--fast fluidized bed, the higher the catalyst hold-up is, the lower the total catalyst circulating rate through the first stage is. If the air rate is too low or too high, the oxygen concentration and the regenerating temperature have more considerable effect on the carbon content on the regenerated catalyst, respectively.
