Experimental investigation on critical heat flux of flow boiling in a vertical uniformly heated annular channel has been performed under rolling and without rolling conditions. The test loop employed in the experiments was fixed on a rolling test facility so that different rolling angles and periods can be achieved. The range of the experiment parameters is as follows: pressure P=0.02MPa, mass velocity G=400 approx 2000kg/m~2s, inlet subcooling temperature DELTAT_sub=5 approx 55 deg C, limit rolling angle theta_m=5 deg, 10 deg, 15 deg, rolling period tau=5s, 7.5s, 10s.
