A complete Best Estimate Large Break LOCA Analysis methodology has been developed and licensed with the USNRC. The WCOBRA/TRAC code has been modified to perform the analyses. All models have been thoroughly benchmarked against Separate Effects and Integral Tests. The methodology has been applied to the Indian Point Unit 2 plant to demonstrate compliance with the revised 10 CFR 50.476 regulation and regulatory Guide 1.157. A Best Estimate Small Break LOCAs analysis project has been initiated which will follow the guidelines established during the development of the large Break Best Estimate Methodology.
