Pangang's Chinese-made Large Slab Continuous Casting Machine Under Operation and Up to Designed Capacity

Pangang's 1350 mm slab continuous casting machine is a large casting machine mainly designed, manufactured, erected, commissioned, constructued and operated by Chinese technicians. The home supplied portion of the machine, which covers 96percent in the total weight of whole machine, is high in technical level and adopts many new processes and technologies. The load test of the machine was succeeded in Oct. 18~(th), 1993, and surpassed all the figures required for acceptance. Over 3 years running, the process and equipment have been operating regularly and bring about magnificent economic benefit for Pangang.
