摘要

This paper presents a preliminary study of powder entrapment in the presence of liquid flow and static liquid holdup in a modle experimet simulating blast furnace flow conditions. It is found that the presence of a liquid phase in the packing can significantly increase the powder holdup adn gas pressure drop, and may be responsible for the retention of unburnt pulverised coal generated by high PCi levels in the blast furnace.
