FRACTURE TOUGHNESS OF SURFACE CRACKED AL-ALLOY WELDING ZONE AT 20K

摘要

The fracture toughness of surface cracked Al-alloy welding zone at 20K was studied by using the surface crack test method, with the objective of providing a basis for high quality welding. In the study, A multi-specimen apparatus for erogenic use was designed to carry out the tensile tests, and the fracture behaviors were characterized by analyzing the fractured surfaces through a scanning electron microscope.
