Our country has plentiful lead-zinc resources and a long history of exploitation. Since the founding of People's Republic of China and particularly in 1980s, exploitation of lead-zinc mineral resources as one of modern industries made a rapid development in resource exploration, mining technique and production scale, etc., including China among the main lead-zinc producing countries in the world. In the predictable future, exploitation of our country's lead-zinc resources will remain as constant and rapid development as with the national economy.
