Analysis of ultimate carrying capacity of plate girders by spline-finite-strip and plastic-node method

摘要

In this paper, ultimate carrying capacity of plate girders is analyzed by spline-finite-strip and plastic-node method. It has advantages of spline-finite-strip method with less nodes displacement and that of plastic-node method with convince of getting plastic elemental stiffness matrix. After comparing to relative experimental information, it proves that this method is efficient and reliable. Analysis by this method can take the place of costly real experiments.
