摘要

In reservoir engineering,there is a need for integrating permeability and porosity dat ataken at various scales.Scale change is by no means a trivial task for permeability because it is not an additive property,but sample size also clearly affects porosity measurements.As a results,it is often difficult to bridge the scale gap between core measurements,log data and,even more,well test interpretation results.Although advanced formation tester measurements and production logs have helped bridge this gap,problems still remain.
