periodical internal inspection of pressure vessels is an essential element of the German Pressure Vessel Code.On occasion of this internal inspection,it has to be judged if the pressure vessel will withstand all conditions to which it will foreseeably to subjected until the next inspection.Due to this concept,pressure vessels can be safely operated with improved utilization of the materials properties.
