An on-line pipe wall thickness monitoring system which uses heat-resistant ultrasonic transducers and monitors the pipe wall thickness caused by erosion-corrosion,has been developed. As heat-resistant ultrasonic transducers,a piezoelectric transducer and a non-contaciting electro-magnetic acoustic transducer,have been developed.
