Discrete-Event Control Network SImulation For Logic Validation

摘要

This paper presents an Object-oriented(OO) simulation architecture for Discrete-Event Control Networks(DECN). A DECN is a variant of a control interpreted petri net here-in used to model automated systems. Simulation and emulation are necessary validation tools for these types of models since structural tests are unable to adequately predict model error from many combinations of sensor input.
