Natural Circulation Boiler Simulation

The natural circulation boilers object of the simulation were manufactured between 1991 and 1992. The units were put into operation in October 1992, and a couple of months later experienced problems related to flow stagnation and chemical additive concentration (NaOH). Boilers simulations carried out with computer programs developed for conventional applications have not been able to identify the causes of the problem. Boilers were substantially modified and did not experience flow stagnation and chemical additive concentration any more.
