摘要

The fate of fuel nitrogen evolved during pyrolysis in the boundary layer iof a single partilce is studied by modeling.THe conservation equations for enegy,species,and monmentum are solved numericlaly in the oundary layer.The particle sare treated as nonisothermal,because there can be great teemrpature gradients inside the particle,which affect the rates of devolatilizaiton and nitrogen releas.
