As full-text and multimedia electronic delivery services proliferate, the structuring potentials of the USMARC format as a citation/verificationt ool to access and retrieve information from countless proprietary databases can be indispensable for end-users. However, even the USMARC integrated bibliographic format (UBIF) has very limited abilities to control, retrieve, and integrate "In" analytic hypermedia entries. Its specifications are designed neither to help end-users to navigate in the ocean of digitized information nor to publish, retrieve and integrate "In" analytic hypermedia entries.
