The way in which organisations interact with their customer base is of key importance for a successful business. Whilst in most instances this takes the form of a telephone customer enquiry service or simply the provision of specialist assistants in sales outlets, the potential now exists for industry, commerce and the public sector to exploite the continuing developments in the local access network to integrate their existing customer services with a telecommunictiosn infrastructure.
