摘要

UV curing has conventionally applied mostly to curing of such relatively thin films as hardcoat for plastics and wood, paints, printing inks and adhesives. A breakthrough has been achieved in the process to cure thick layer articles with UV irradiation by taking advantage of the most updated material chemistry and UV equipment technologies. This UV curing process has been put to commercial practice for production of eyeglass lenses, and we believe this development has great significance as a breakthrough to open up broader possibilities of UV curing technologies.
