Flexing deformation is gradually developed in its early stage, which is triggered by weathering under the special rockmass structure characteristics. If enough attention can be paid in preventing rockmass in a slope from being weathered, flexing deformation and progressive failure can be avoided.As discussed above, cement layer protection can't protect the rockmass from being weathered; turfing can provide this kind of function. Therefore, from the point of view of effective treatment and permanent protection, turfing should the first chose compared with cement layer protection.
