Selection and application of 500kV oil-filled cable at Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station

When a kind of equipment is operated in an extreme using condition or envirement, selectiondesign is an important step to be done.For the Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station, the 500,kV Cable system shall meet thefollowings technical requirement:First, the operation mode and the transmision capacity;Second, the power net-work's requirement;Third, the arrangement of the power station complex, and the natural evirement conditions.After selection, a strict testing program is neccesary to work out to verify the quality andperformance of the selected euipment.
