A brief introduction to Xiangjiaba Hydroelectric Project

摘要

The Xiangjiaba hydroelectric project will be located on the border river-the Jinshajiang river between Yibin County of Sichuan Province and Shuifu County of Yunnan Province, 33km upstream from Yibin City.The Jinshajiang river stretches 2360km in total from Batang river mouth in Yushu County of Qinghai Province to the Minjiang river mouth in Yibin City of Sichuan Province with a total head of 3280m. The upper reach of the Jinshajiang river is from the Batang river mouth to Shigu, the middle reach is from Shigu to the Yalongjiang river mouth, and the lower reach from the Yalongjiang river mouth to the Minjiang river mouth.
