Release process of dust form fabric surface , which is one of the most important operations to maintain the continuos operation of bag filtration, has been studied experimentally through the precise observation of the movements of dust and fabric, and the pressure changes just upstream and downstream a flat fabric after cleaning compressed air is injected. As a result, 1)Removal of deposited particles are found to be influenced by fabric material, surface treatment and particle property and so on. 2) pulse air accelerates a fabric quickly so that pressure difference across it increased rapidly and it also moves quickly and displacement reached to the maximum occurs very beginning of the injection and it lasted until termination of it. 3) Cleaning of deposited particles mainly takes place by the rapid inverse of pressure difference across a fabric and its displacement. Cleaning mechanism is summarized schematically.
