摘要

Using trajectory analysis we evaluated the process of dispersion of doublets of unequal spheres in shear and elongational flow fields. We also revealed the effect of initial position of doublets, the radius ratio of two particles and minimum separation between two spheres on stability of coagulated particles. It is found that the elongational flow is more effective for dispersion of coagulated particles than the shear flow in terms of the dissipation energy of the flows.
