RESEARCH ON THE ROLLER PROFILE DESIGN FOR THE BEARING IN ROCK BITS

摘要

This paper deals with the cylindrical roller profile design problem for the roller bearing in rock bits. The analytical results reveal that the suitable profiling can eliminate or diminish the singularity and concentration of contact pressure towards the ends of roller. The Lundberg profile is suitable for the profiling of the roller bearing in tricone bits.
