Contrasts of Capital Purchase of Water Treatment Systems vs. Full Service Programs

The full service approach to providing high purity water is becoming more common in the water purification industry, both in the United States and in other parts of the world. A number of companies are now offering this service in response to a growing number of customers who prefer outsourcing their high purity water production rather than owning and operating the equipment themselves. This paper presents ideas about the advantages and disadvantages of each and reviews two case studies to illustrate how full service water treatment compares to the capital purchase water treatment approach.
