摘要

Mathematical models were developed for the binary rare earth solvent extraction system of (Sm-Gd)Cl_3-HCl-HEH(EHP)-isoparaffin. The mathematical relationship describes the rare earth concentration in the organic phase as a function of the total rare earth concentration, acidity, and mole fraction of one rare earth in the aqueous phase at equilibrium. The average relative error of the models is <3.5% and the correlation coefficient is 0.999.Using the developed models the equilibrium distribution of samarium and gadolinium in both phases of the system and the effects of rare earth concentration, acidity and mole fraction of samarium in the aqueous phase on the distribution coefficients and the separation factor have been studied.
