Proposal of High Productivity in Ductile Mode Grinding of Brittle Materials

摘要

The requirements for realizing high productive and ductile mode grinding are discussed in viewpoint of the following items: (1) dynamic characteristics of grinding system for realizing stability, (2) ductile mode chip removal in chip formation, and (3) increase of number of active abrasive grains contributing ductile mode chip removal.
