Burners using coke-gas as fuel, besides the general conditions to be carried out by each burner (for example the complete burning by reduced excess of air, flame-stability, a flame having characteristics determined by the deserved process) must also avoid the obstruction of the coke-gas ways to the burner, phenomenon which can appear as a result of some fractions (tars) of coke-gas. The obstruction of the ways for coke-gas of the burner is facilitated by the partial epuration of coke-gas.
