S_2F_10 and other heavy gaseous decomposition byproducts formed in SF_6 and SF_6-Gas mixtures exposed to electrical discharges

Mixtures of SF_6 with nitrogen or perfluoromethance are need for equipments to operate correctly at temperature as low as-50degC. Improvement of experimental of new gaseous byproducts formed when these mixtures are exposed to electrical discharges. Formation of NF_3, N_2F_2 and some perfluoromethylfanes has been revealed in additio to other heavy compounds containing the SF_5 cebtre dot radical. The paper also presents results obtained with SF_6-air (dry and wet) mixtures.
