摘要

The demand for higher handwidth and power efficiencies in digital communication makes multidimensional modulation schemes increasingly attractive.In this paper we introduce one such scheme,called 8D-4P2C (for 8 Dimensions,4Pulses,and 2 Carriers).This scheme has a compact spectrum and is easily implementable.Moreover,it is amenable to a simplified detection scheme with a arginal loss of effficiency with respect to optimum demodulation.Its performance,obtained by computer simulation,proves its attractiveness for digital radio systems.
