TDMA techniques used in personal communication services is capable of achieving high system capacity while maintaining good transmission quality. A new time slot assignment method called Channel/Slot Reuse Access.(CSRA)is proposed in thls paper.The algorithm and performance of CSRA are dlscussed in detalls. Computer simulation proves the overall procedure of CSRA applied in a typlcal digital personal communlcation system.Analysis and simulation results also show that CSRA can provide better performance both in capacity and in transmlsslon quality compared with conventional methods.
