Inaugural GPSA Engineering Data Book Training Class a Success, More Scheduled

The Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) Engineering Data Book was first published in 1935, and more than 80 years and several editions later, the book has grown into nearly 1,000 pages of technical information, becoming the worldwide authoritative resource for technical and design information pertaining to the gas processing industry and its accepted practices and procedures. In a collaborative effort, the GPA Midstream and GPSA developed a week-long Engineering Data Book training course to equip midstream industry engineers early in their careers, and also operators, plant personnel and technical sales personnel, with the fundamentals they need to put the valued industry resource to practical use. The initial class held in late October 2015 at the Enterprise Training Center in Mont Belvieu, Texas, was at capacity with 25 students, and while positive, feedback from the first class will help GPA fine tune this training for future classes.
