The development of Urban CATV in China is disscussed in this paper. The importance and possibility of using trunk status monitor system (TSM) in Urban CATV is also considered. A design for TMS system is given and the problems of inteference and inteference ― resisting are studied. As example, the DGN―Jl TSM system has been used in two cities of Chian.
