Startup and operation of the north bay regional water treatment plant

The North Bay Regional (NBR) Water Treatment Plant is a new 40 million gallon per day surface water treatment facility jointly owned by the Cities of Fairfield and Vacaville, California. The NBR Plant began operation in October, 1990. It incorporates many of the latest treatment process technologies to meet the current and anticipated drinking water standards.
