摘要

The hydration rate of slag in the slag-alkaline cement system was measured by means of chemical shrinkage, QXRD and the amount of non-evaporable water. Compressive strength, pore size distribution by means of nitrogen gas adsorption and the amount of leaching out elements from SAC pastes were also measured. As the results, it was concluded that the disintegration of slag carcass occurred owing to cation exchange reaction between calcium ions of slag and sodium ion of sodium silicate in the SAC based on the soluble silicate glass. The rate of hydration of slag, especially in the initial stage, was affected by the silica content in the sodium silicate used (Ms=1 - 2). Alkalinity of soluble silicate glass did not influence so much on the initial hydration of slag. The rate of Na_2O leaching from SAC pastes decrease in the course of time and with decreasing of the silicate modulus and alkalinity of soluble glass in the early stage.
