AN OBJECT-ORIENTED USER INTERFACE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM NPUUIMS:DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

It is very time-consuming and expensive to creat the graphical,highly-interactive styles of user interrace.User Interface Management systerms(UIMSs)attempt to make the creation of user interface easier,but most existing UIMSs have many problems.This paper desribes NPUUIMS,a UIMS that adopts object-oriented method and Direct Manipulation techniques are used to creat Direct Manipulation interfaces.In addition,we introduce a form-intependent concept,which allows the presentation components of user interfaces to be generated automatically.
