Effect of Binder Selection on Drying of Recessed Areas in a Shell Mold

The drying of recessed areas can contribute to significant time delays inthe processing of shell molds, as well as leading to rework and scrapissues. This paper will present data from various testing to evaluate theeffect of different binders (polymer and non-polymer) to try to overcomethis all too common problem.
