摘要

Blood flow induced shear stress, especially the low shear stress, is a crucial stressor for vascular remodeling during atherogenesis [1], which involved migration, proliferation and apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) [2]. The researches on the molecular mechanisms of low shear stress induced vascular remodeling could contribute to finding a new target in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis.
