Standard Absorbed Dose to Water for HDR Brachytherapy Sources with Fricke Dosimetry

摘要

Chemical dosimetry using standard FeSO_4 solution in a containing vessel with uniform geometry relative to the source has shown to be a feasible absorbed dose standard for HDR ~(192)Ir source. Improvements are now on the way with the re-measuring the G values using ionometric system.
