For successful image analysis it is necessary that the imageanalysis system be configured to meet the requirements of the specifictask and the specific data material. This includes the selection of theoperators and the adaptation of the free parameters. The system CONNYhas been developed which performs this configuration processautomatically based on a user-specified task definition and theknowledge of an image analysis expert.
