摘要

The protocol of the Distributed Queue Dual Bus (DQDB) may not work as a perfect scheduler and,as a result,may cause such problems as unfairness and bandwidth wastage.In this paper,we propose Dynamic Bandwidth Balancing (DBB)mechanism to solve these problems.Simulation result shows that the proposed mechanism may offer better performance than the BWB (Bandwidth Balancing) and the SBB (Symmetric Bandwidth Balancing) mechanisms in terms of fairness,delay,and utilization.
